At the age of 19 he wrote his first song. He played drums for a local band called 'Last Call' from 1996-1999. He has been recording his own songs from 1999 to the present. <br><br>Russell not only writes his songs but performs every instrument for his recordings. His instrument of choice is the guitar but he is skilled in percussion, bass and keyboard. Russell's aspirations are to go on doing what he loves most, writing and playing music, and wishes to be discovered and acknowledged by the world as a successful songwriter and performer.
